The AI that hunts the exception instead of writing you a paragraph

Most AI releases in accounting software are trying to write a nicer paragraph about revenue. Joiin Intelligence is doing something more useful.

Its agents clean the chart of accounts, build the eliminations, draft a report pack, then diagnose a consolidated balance sheet that will not balance. It names whether the cause is rounding, a source ledger, an adjustment or a missing elimination, and where in the group it went wrong.

Kendrick Hair of Fishbowl reads it through an ERP and inventory lens: the more structured the operational data underneath, the more useful this gets.

John Toon likes that Joiin are not asking you to run every report out of a chat box. He remembers early Jax, where asking about profit took longer than clicking the report. Chat as the report runner is a bad idea. Chat as the thing that finds the broken consolidation is a good one.

He also raises where the data physically goes once a firm hands it to a model, and why Joiin building on AWS matters to anyone with GDPR to answer to.
