Currently in early access this move puts them in direct competition with the likes of Stripe. They are launching with a 2.9% fee and no setup costs or monthly commitments. While bank transfers are cheaper offering a card option can significantly speed up cash flow when clients prefer to pay on credit.
It creates a nice flexible setup where you can offer low cost bank transfers as the default but have the card option there for when you just need to get the money in the door.
