Leigh Stallard is more cautious, and tells the story of a puppy walking happily onto a pontoon sitting half an inch under the water, then straight off the end of it. If a business is selling stock it does not have, the back order is not the fix. It is the symptom. Handle that in core Xero rather than a real inventory system and the mess arrives later and bigger, usually somewhere near year end.
