Back again with another pod and the latest App News from the accounting tech space - including everything from the much-anticipated Digital Disruptor Awards to the latest updates from Xero, QuickBooks, and more.
Ryan juggles the chaos of a newborn, while John reminisces about tent life and questionable camping experiences - in stark contrast to Indi's adventures with mostly-indoor Danish hospitality and colossal steaks.
All this, sprinkled with our usual tangents about mermaid statues, passionate embraces, and an egg-splitting science lesson.

[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Hello and welcome to another Digi-Tools In Accrual World podcast.
[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We are delighted to bring you another fun packed show, plenty of news, updates,
[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_00]: interviews and the usual nonsense from the three of us.
[00:00:12] [SPEAKER_00]: We have also should highlight, of course, that we have the Digital Disruptors Awards
[00:00:16] [SPEAKER_00]: coming up soon and we have an absolute ton of people and apps and other things
[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that have been nominated for the various war categories.
[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So our award judges at the moment are just sifting through those to find out
[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_00]: who will be the fateful few that will go through to the final nominations
[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and be up for an award.
[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're very much looking forward to sifting through that afterwards
[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: with the award judges to find out what was really going on behind the scenes
[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: and understand what their thought processes and things were.
[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But in the meantime, if you are interested in joining us at the awards,
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_00]: we'd love for you to grab a ticket if you're a sponsor or want to
[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_00]: sponsor some of the awards, there are still opportunities to do that.
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And you can, of course, grab a table as well.
[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: There are plenty of plenty of information out there.
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We can put links in the podcast notes and things.
[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And we're looking forward to having an absolute cracking night with you.
[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, let's crack on with the show.
[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And Brian, how are you doing?
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Matthew Seeper, I've John after my my very prematurely born son recently came home
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm now getting pretty much no sleep.
[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, if I make no sense or make less sense than I normally make,
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: that is why.
[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Excellent. Well, I mean, we'll see.
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll have some sort of like
[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: senseometer in the background.
[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We can have like a bit of a thing that swings back and forth.
[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we can actually hear your your newborn in the background.
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Clearly not very happy at the moment, but anyway, I'm sure things will settle down.
[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And Indy, how are you?
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Because I know you've been travelling around and eating massive
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_00]: steaks and things like that.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, mistakes, exactly.
[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Making mess of mistakes, that's the word.
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And good.
[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, looking forward to the awards not far away now.
[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So we've got a few different categories that we want to try and make sure that
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: we promote while there's some notable characters in the awards list that have
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_02]: been nominated. Thank you so much for those who took the time to vote.
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's too late now.
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So if you haven't made your submission, then you'll have to wait until next year.
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_02]: But hopefully you can all still join us at the main event,
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_02]: which you are going to visit when John, you're going to go and see the
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: make sure that we get some good shots of you and Lee doing the the the act on the
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_02]: stage. What's the double act?
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm not sure what the double act is yet, but I'm sure between Lee and I,
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_00]: we can come up with something.
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But we've got a couple of days to prepare because I think we're heading
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: up later this week. And yeah, I mean, we'll take suggestions if you want
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: to put something forward.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we can sort of go very traditional to run these out.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Or go Laurel and Hardy or something like that.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We could make it a little bit more sort of modern.
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: We could, I don't know,
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_00]: take a close up dance.
[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, who knows?
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, less, less.
[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Stop the little.
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll find the feathers.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. Anyway, let's crack on with the show.
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to kick off app news this week with some information from Zero.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: So they announced new pricing a couple of months back with the plan.
[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It was going to be released in September.
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, what was going to happen is as well as a general price increase
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: across their platforms, they were going to change the name of everything.
[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So Starter was going to become Ignite.
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Stadford was going to become grow and
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Prima was going to become comprehensive, I believe, with our ultimate package
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: stans it was what they've also done is bundled a lot of features inside of
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: those. So for example, if you needed a certain amount and pay all,
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: you have to be up on a higher on a higher subscription plan than just being maybe
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: on Starter, we have a zero payroll bolting.
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So any of those bolt-ins you had, you'd have to consider where do I sit in the
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: new structure? Now, the impact has been quite phenomenal across client bases.
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So I did a complete analysis across our client bases.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: In some instances, some clients were approaching a 200 percent increase on
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: their price and on this subscription plan for nothing additional,
[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_01]: just from a price change.
[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, zero have been listening to feedback on this.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And what they've basically said is that for the majority of customers
[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: whose subscription plan was to include some the same or more features,
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: they will have the same or lower price, like ignoring that,
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess, inflationary increase.
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And then for those that would have seen a big price increase,
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_01]: they're going to be delayed until September, September, 2025.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And in the meantime, there's been lots of discussions with your
[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_01]: account manager to work out actually are there discounts or the deals that can
[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: be done to help those clients that would be jumping up significantly.
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is good in that it's been a, I guess,
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_01]: a positive reaction from zero listening to its
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: customers and seeing what could be done.
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's for discussion with accounting and bookkeeping partners
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_01]: that this change is focused on.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're direct to zero, I'm not sure that's not coming
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: in front of me, you may need to check.
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, the fact that they're listening and making change is interesting.
[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: For when I did an assessment,
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_01]: generally, the increase is going to be somewhere up to 10 percent.
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: If just for a standard increase, if you are bundling, it could be up to 200.
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But a big note is that the bureau plans,
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: if you had a bureau plan with zero and where the clients weren't supposed
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_01]: to access, they've been completely removed.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And for those, there's going to be an increase on 25 percent,
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: assuming that you adopt the discounts that they're planning to roll out for those
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: for a transition period.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So initial 25 percent, longer term, a larger increase once you get out of that
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_01]: initial discount period.
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So changes, positive changes to what was quite a disruptive and not
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: well received price increase from zero.
[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, I know we just discussed the price increases a little while back.
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's one hour's out in Vegas.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think either of us have a chance to kind of consume
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: the announcements and understand exactly what the impact was.
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: But I have to say, I hate these pricing changes.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Like the removal of bureau for firms like us where we just want a core product
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_00]: and the client doesn't necessarily need to be actively involved in it.
[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You seem like a complete nonsense.
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And the one of the things that I almost always try to avoid when it comes
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: to like your products is this kind of entirely like bundled all in one place
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: pricing that zero now moving to because the great thing about using a product
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_00]: like zero, which I know they want to think of themselves as a platform.
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_00]: But really there are at least two products, if not more,
[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of like the core bookkeeping products and the core payroll product
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00]: is the ability to pick and choose between those and then use whatever works best.
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I know there are other features in there and stuff that are add-ons as well.
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But if I was coming to zero as a new customer today,
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_00]: that would be one of the things that I would have to seriously weigh up
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_00]: as to whether or not it's a good choice and it would fit to my business.
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think, as you said, Ryan, when you start doing the assessment
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: on the impact for certain clients, particularly those, I think,
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: there are probably at the smaller end of the market where having to have
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: a move up from a relatively basic subscription to one of the more
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: the more expensive subscriptions as a consequence of using something like
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_00]: payroll or as a consequence of using maybe some of the other functionality in there
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: is that the people are going to win from this is free agent.
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Because free agent we know are already doing a lot of work in terms of building
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: out their integrations and really enhancing their product to make it a bit
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: more suitable outside of what was their core market of freelancers
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and that kind of space to appeal more to smaller businesses.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think zero even though they've delayed these plans by 12 months of playing
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: right into free agents hands at the moment.
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the beauty was zero was flexibility.
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_01]: There's an app store and that then the ability to have bolt-ons
[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_01]: enabled that from the zero owned.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, sometimes say like zero projects would be the perfect fit.
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you'd go into the zero app store to find perfect fit.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I've had a number of clients that were using a small subscription
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: wanted to use zero projects for the odd thing, have to move up to ultimate.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no point in mass removal into another product.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's the blunt thing about say zero,
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: you're you're encouraging or incentivizing me to move them off your platform.
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's not the way that I assume your pricing roll out was supposed to work.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, moving away from zero, I've got a
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I've got a good story on how to buy a product and roll it in without
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: detrimental, I guess, your customer base or buying it and then having to sell
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: it later a massive discounted price, not naming and a software vendors that have
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_01]: done this. So QuickBooks Online bought Trade Gecko about four years ago.
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_01]: They did that to acquire the inventory system and its e-commerce functionality
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: from September 2020.
[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So just yeah, pretty much four years ago, not not long after it was
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_01]: purchased, they announced the release of QuickBooks Commerce
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_01]: over then the two and a half years following that, that they were building out.
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: They started building the functionality of QuickBooks,
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_01]: sorry, of Trade Gecko into the other areas of the platform.
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So depending on what subscription tier you're on, you would get access to certain
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: functionality. They also built some core e-commerce
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: integrations directly into every single part of the platform.
[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_01]: What this did, it was it incentivized members
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_01]: that kind of transitioned across from Trade Gecko into QuickBooks Online to upgrade
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: to certain platforms over time.
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we got to a point where QuickBooks Commerce, the separate product,
[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: was no longer needed and they could just get rid of it.
[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_01]: So they did lose some customers from the acquisition of Trade Gecko,
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but they bought all the trade, all of the IP.
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_01]: They integrated it over time, migrated the client base up to a higher price
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: over time to utilize that advanced functionality to still make the money,
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_01]: get the return on the acquisition of Trade Gecko.
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And I guess from it, they didn't need to build this out,
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_01]: which is a very difficult space.
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So trying to build out
[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: inventory management inside and already existing product is incredibly challenging.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So they've got down the acquisition route.
[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Zero have done a similar thing with buying Locate Inventory.
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It'll be interesting to see if they do the same play,
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_01]: that kind of move over time.
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Zero have not done this for some of their other products and that's caused
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_01]: problems in which they have not got the engagement they want to.
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So brilliant work from QuickBooks on this one, perfect way to buy a product,
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: roll it into your existing system and move your clients up without losing all of them.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's a great success story from QuickBooks,
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_00]: as frustrating as the acquisition of Trade Gecko was and what that meant
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of certainly for some of our clients that were using Zero,
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Zero connected to that at the time.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It demonstrates that if you've got the right strategy in place,
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_00]: you can make it work and we are recording this just before Zero
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_00]: came out in Nashville and I think there are plenty of people expecting
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: some kind of inventory announcement around that Locate Acquisition by Zero.
[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it'd be interesting to see that.
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And in the context of the conversation we just had about pricing is like
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_00]: if they are going to bundle Locate into the wider Zero package and then have
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: to have another bump on pricing because you're going to have to have that stock
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_00]: product there by default, that is going to be really,
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: really challenging for Zero in terms of their market position and things.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's something they're going to have to take into account at some point.
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Definitely, I think it will be a challenge
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: than to get it right.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But maybe we can speculate on what the name will be,
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: because it will be above Ultimate.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So do you think it'd be like Avenger, Zero Avenger version or something?
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Or yeah, Zero Ninja or something like that.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that'd be perfect. Zero Ninja.
[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm actually I'm sold now.
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Zero Shogun, that's what it should be.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like mildly topical.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Nerd.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Right. Moving on.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Expert have announced some feature releases into their expert intelligence
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: product, which enhances the way that you can use the customer alerts functionality
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: or what expert called custom experts that's in the platform.
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So essentially for anyone that isn't familiar with expert,
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: this is a product that's very similar to Dexprecision and Cent and Connect.
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Here in the UK, it was formally launched earlier in the year and
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: connects into things like your zero data to do that kind of data analytics
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: in terms of looking at the data integrity and the quality of the data.
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And they have a multitude of functionality that allows you to see what the data
[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_00]: quality is, but also to set up alerts and notifications within the product
[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_00]: so that you can keep on top of that data as things happen and how things change.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a whole bunch of functionality that are building in using a mixture
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_00]: of chat GPT and I'm going to get this wrong now, but it's one of the other
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: models that's out there and you're basically allowing you to interact in a
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: chat style with the data, but also allowing you to do things like, for example,
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_00]: there was already a threshold, a VAT threshold setting that's in there,
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: which is familiar with the other products.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: But what you could also do is you could then say, right, OK, rather than just
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_00]: monitoring when we breach the VAT threshold, how about we be a bit more
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_00]: intelligent and we try and monitor and say, right, as we get closer to the threshold,
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: what we want is some kind of notification to come through so that rather than
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: waiting till we're over the limit, we should be a bit more proactive.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And so this is just one example of one of the experts that you can roll out.
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a whole bunch of other
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: functionality and ability to monitor things so that you can be more proactive
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_00]: with clients. The other one that they give us an example is
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_00]: the ability to flag a significant drop in revenue for a particular client.
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And then obviously you can try and intervene and sort of find out if this is just
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: a one off or whether this is indicative of a bigger problem and whether or not
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: you then need to maybe get into some serious planning with that particular
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: business to sort of stave off the worst.
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So you're pushing ahead with the use of Gen AI
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: for anyone that is interested in using it.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: The pricing starts at 15 pounds per user per month
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and the AI functionality is on there.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It starts at four pounds per file for naught or 100 activities.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of volume priced.
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's kind of the way that the pricing from all of these models works.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's not hopefully too unfamiliar as we move more and more into this Gen AI world.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And just to follow up on the back of that as well,
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Dext have announced within Dext Precision the ability to set a custom health score.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: So so it always used to be able to have like a standardized health score,
[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: which was driven by a whole bunch of metrics in Dext Precision.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So that would be things like have the lock baits and zero been set
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_00]: as a is the bookkeeping up to date in terms of how the bank reconciliation
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: been done recently, are there any significant outstanding invoices?
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Are there any discrepancies in the data in terms of
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_00]: multi-coded contacts, for example, or misuse maybe of the VAT codes?
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: But now, of course, what they've realized,
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I think this is probably based on customer feedback or feedback from ourselves,
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_00]: is that what quite a lot of firms wanted to have is the ability to customize that
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_00]: so that you weren't always looking at the same benchmark across all clients.
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And that might be because, for example,
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_00]: if you only did the bookkeeping periodically with their client or the book
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_00]: or the client themselves only did bookkeeping periodically,
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: you would get a whole bunch of alerts that would say that the health score
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_00]: was dropping and dropping and dropping.
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And then as soon as they kept caught up with the bookkeeping,
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_00]: it suddenly go back up and that was really giving you the kind of the
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_00]: context of what was happening with the data.
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So I think this is a great idea and a great prompt to start using.
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I must admit, we just started playing around with custom health scores
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: ourselves in next position.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, one of the things that we don't place a big
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_00]: weight on for us is about the lock dates because,
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_00]: again, typically our clients tend to only lock in the previous year end.
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: They don't go forward and lock every month,
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_00]: which is what that position wanted to try and encourage you to do.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_00]: And so being able to sort of tweak that a little bit is really helpful.
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, the two, I guess, or two of the data analysis tools going head to head
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_01]: in releases, I'm slightly frustrated, I guess, that you've got these add-on
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: prices for AI tools.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel we should be trying to embed AI into subscription packages.
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: That's just my opinion.
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And paying as a premium just for AI just feels like you're kind of getting
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_01]: away from the point of AI to extend, I guess, the functionality inside the system.
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's just where it is.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Dex though, talking about Dex Precision, Dex are rolling their three products,
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: being Dexed Prepare, Dexed Precision and Dex Commerce all into a single integrated
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: platform. You may have already started to see this.
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: We have from using Dexed Prepare and Precision, but it's going to be fully
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: rolled out from September 2024 for, I believe, Prepare and Commerce to see
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: those kind of functionality integrated overlap to some extent.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And then the Dex Precision functionality will roll in from November 2024.
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So they've got an overlaying kind of entry point now for all three products.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But the way the three products will interact will also be more unified.
[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_01]: This, I believe, was planned three years ago, but it's obviously very complex.
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And Dexed are now on a massive roll of releasing features.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's great to see that they are starting to bring the platforms together
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_01]: by unifying probably the underlying architecture of all three.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_00]: When we've seen things like
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_00]: extension coming out, I think that is one area where this kind of unified
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: platform as well would be of real interest because all of a sudden you're going
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: to be able to potentially pull data from three different sources and three
[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_00]: different parts of the accounting system and bring that together in one place.
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Plus, of course, it means it's a bit easier for you and I if we're using
[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_00]: all of these platforms to log in rather than having to jump around
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: between different websites and stuff.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's that functionality is already there to a degree.
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's not quite fully seamless, but it's definitely getting there.
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And right, moving on then very quickly.
[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So deputy have announced that they have now launched their HR product
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_00]: into the US.
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So having having lodged in Europe and Australia in the past in the last 12 months
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_00]: or so, they are now bringing that product to the US.
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And essentially what deputy HR brings together is probably three or four
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_00]: pieces of functionality.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got deputy hire, which kind of does what it says on the tin.
[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It helps you with picking up roles, promoting them, getting them out
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_00]: on job boards, etc.
[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And then also doing that initial part of the recruitment process.
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You've then got deputy new hire on boarding.
[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not quite so sure that's as snappy as I would like.
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_00]: But again, does exactly what it says on the tin.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you've got two more functionalities.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: One is around HR document management.
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So again, making, managing all those documents, licenses, etc.
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You need to keep employees in one place.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And the final bit is shift pulse plus,
[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_00]: which is all around like an ongoing monitoring of your staff in terms
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_00]: of how engaged you are.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: So sends out notifications, ask them to provide feedback
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and so that you can make sure that morale
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and talent retention are sort of like top of your priorities.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So a neat bunch of features and functionality all now in the US market.
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So deputy, so a great little release.
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And talking of great little releases and free agent also smashed out
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: an incredible little piece of updates their platform,
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00]: which is the ability where you have bank feed connections for your clients
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_00]: to be able to update those in bulk from the dashboard.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: So rather than having to go into every single client and then find that
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_00]: open banking bank feed in the individual client banking section
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and having to update that in one place,
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_00]: you can now at the click of a button from the dashboard
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: smash out updating as many bank connections as you can possibly imagine.
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And so that they're going to be refreshed for another 90 days
[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and running in the background without any additional intervention.
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So I think this is a brilliant thing.
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen some of the demos.
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I've actually seen it in real life more recently as well.
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a cracking little feature and it'd be great.
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It'd be great if other products could copy them and do the same thing.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, please do. I love those little things.
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So things where you don't really think of it, you know, it's a pain.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, I wish someone was to sort this and then they go and do it.
[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, ah, beautiful.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Right. Well, we talked about a bit of
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_01]: fight between data analysis tools earlier between expert and
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_01]: expositioning releases.
[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We've got another one with Translucent going up against May Day in that
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: inter-company space.
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: So Translucent have released multiple recharge allocations per entity.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So what does this mean?
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're looking to recharge between inter-company,
[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_01]: you can now also select inside a entity between various accounts and tracking
[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_01]: categories, so spreading it across multiple different areas
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_01]: rather than just a single recharge.
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, this is something that's always been in place in May Day
[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_01]: and Translucent are building out this functionality.
[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_01]: So I think they're trying to step slightly into May Day space here.
[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And as if by magic, we've almost got the flip side of this as well,
[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_00]: because May Day have announced an AP matching functionality that I would say
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_00]: pretty much does a little bit of what Translucent has been trying to do
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_00]: and does do previously.
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is all around number one, being able to see your accounts receivable
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and accounts payable balances across all of your contacts across all of your
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: entities, sounds very familiar.
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, you can then drill down into that so you can see the breakdown
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_00]: of invoices, bills, credit notes, etc.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And be comfortable that that's all reasonable.
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And also what you can then do is if you need to, is you can actually
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_00]: deal with reclassifying some of those or moving them between May Day entities.
[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So, for example, if you raise an invoice on the wrong entity and need to move it,
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_00]: you can do that and you can effectively recharge it through into company.
[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_00]: So create piece of functionality.
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Really interesting to see this.
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think we're all big fans of both May Day and Translucent,
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: what they're trying to do.
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And this just really just brings a significant enhancement to the wider
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_00]: ecosystem, particularly for entities big and small that do end up being multi
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_00]: multi-entity. And this can affect everything from small charities with a
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: trading business to obviously those businesses that want to trade internationally
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and need to have multiple platforms in multiple places.
[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, competitors
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_01]: read development business.
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So we've got two systems that are trying to not fight.
[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they've been very amicable, but it's driving its driving development,
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_01]: which is great.
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But if you want to know more about all of these releases,
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: please do check out the show notes.
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you want to hear about them before we talk about them on the podcast,
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_01]: look at the websites and where they'll go first.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you are worried, concerned that you may miss a piece of news that we
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: do discuss or things that we don't even get to discuss on the pod,
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_01]: please do subscribe to the newsletter and make sure you get a summary every month.
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan's busy with the baby.
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You're nothing to do.
[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Seeing him never opening calls.
[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Sitting in your tent.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Wallowing in a pit of sorrow.
[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: How was your tent, to be honest, John?
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Because we, Indy and I made many predictions about what your tent
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_01]: experience would be like.
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the tent.
[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the tent was fine.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I believe it leaked a couple of nights before I arrived in France
[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_00]: when there was a massive thunderstorm.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But I missed that excitement and I just turned up and it was
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00]: mainly sunny for the full week that I was out there.
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So the tent was tent-like.
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was all good.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I enjoyed it.
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I always enjoyed camping.
[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And in fact, here's a little bit of science for you, Ryan, because I know
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: you're like this, like if you go camping regularly,
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: for at least you've got to go for a minimum of a week, but if for two
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: weeks it helps to reset your body clock, you get more in tune with nature.
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So there you go.
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Really?
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Genuinely, yeah.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's amazing.
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Why would Ryan prefer that?
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I'd put it on.
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_00]: He's a science nerd, that's why.
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Because when I'm talking Bologna, that's why we're talking like chakra and
[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_00]: your auras and stuff like then made up science.
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So ready for a body reset and wear my hoop again.
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_00]: A body reset.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's not you're not like it's not like data from Star Trek where
[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_00]: you just press a button and it's all back to normal.
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you're going to invest time.
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I am not a novice to this, John.
[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I happen to know that.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm a one.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I can be a living body, living horizontally and vertically.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: What I mean?
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I have been doing a lot of horizontal living recently.
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_02]: What does that mean?
[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I've been saying you sleep, you got to sleep.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's got to sleep in there.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_02]: That's absolutely fine.
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I heard him do you slept like a bat upside down hanging from the rafters.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_00]: We're in a coffin.
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you in college and in your skin?
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_00]: He said it very red in the face.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I just want to make sure that like no one knows how how like I want to be like
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Benjamin Button and age backwards.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I mean that would be attractive.
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's what Ryan's doing effectively if you're looking at him.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And I saw because I look like a baby.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I've lost my hair does not mean I'm aging backwards.
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel very old at the moment.
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd also take sleeping in a tent.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: As long as I got to sleep on my own, I got some peace and quiet.
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I take sleep on the tent right now.
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, that is one of the issues about sleeping camping.
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, if you are in reasonable proximity to other people because you can
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: hear like everything going on like the snoring and the farting and everything else.
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's it can get a little bit exciting.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Exciting.
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought of what kind of kind of did you go to?
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I knew it.
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I knew it.
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: The key from the bowl claim wasn't it?
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Did some tent hopping.
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you in the middle of the night in that attic antics?
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And not deliberately, I don't think.
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Just stumbling into the wrong tent.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Stumbling into the wrong tent.
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just fall forwards.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was probably the opposite of you.
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I was in Lapa Bluxuryland near Malfi.
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I went to the Truman show, which is Denmark
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: with less friendly people.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Did you did you enjoy Denmark or was it was it so terrible that you never want to go
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_00]: back again?
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you like to say?
[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Was somewhere that I would frequent maybe?
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Never.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Was it because I've almost always followed you?
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_02]: There are beautiful parts.
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I just need to think about that again.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Reflect on it.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: People work hard there.
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I know.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02]: What about the little mermaid?
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You said little mermaid?
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know.
[00:28:55] I didn't do anything.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a little mermaid in Denmark.
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I've got.
[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's nice.
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Do I?
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a statue.
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a statue.
[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe Copenhagen.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Copenhagen now.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, yeah, seeing it was wasn't that impressive, I'll be honest.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But maybe it takes a lot to impress me statue wise.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Were you impressed with my meat?
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I was impressed with your meat.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I was impressed with how it was cooked.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I've not experienced that before.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So you kind of cook it yourself.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was a giant, massive piece of steak.
[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Huge, huge size of my head.
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty good going for a vegan.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Anymore.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What was it?
[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You've been saying for a long time.
[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_01]: When did you get veganism?
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's more that I still can't have dairy.
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, this goes down rabbit horn now.
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to change your subject.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: But I want to explore more about Ryan's
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan's statue fetish.
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You'll need to understand more about this and sort of understand what really
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_00]: gets him going is it is sort of like more of a Nelson's column type thing?
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Do we need a huge plinth with a sort of size?
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You touch on all about size.
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I thought it was.
[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, is it size as in like how the vertical or we're talking about just
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: general area covered because I mean, there are big statues and other things
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_00]: in various countries which are quite massive.
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I have a picture of me as a child next to effectively what was
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_00]: like an old USSR monument from the World War Two, which had like tanks and stuff on
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: it. And there's about 16 of us kids like clambering around.
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's absolutely amazing that it's basically mowing down like poor
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_00]: soldiers in the trenches.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_00]: A little bit abstract for a play, like a playground.
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And my guess would be how ornate it is.
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I've realized I've gone down a stage with absolutely no backing to
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_01]: because I literally just made it up.
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think, you know, a good, well-made, large statue is impressive.
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I was disappointed with the little mermaid.
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02]: We've been trying to think about present to get you since.
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's true.
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And now I'm thinking, yeah, a statue for the garden,
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: something to join your other bodily functions.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: If you could get an oven on a pimp.
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It would match.
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, a job right in the center.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a giant egg.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Why? Oh, you can like literally you can have the sort of like as the egg split,
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, the egg splits, you know, the cells starts to split.
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be cool.
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: So that is very scientific.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: A bit of my my toast.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not right.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_01]: That's completely the wrong word.
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds like you need cream for that, right?
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I should get that treated.
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I mean, if we get desperate,
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I guess India and I could sort of like act out some sort of, you know,
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_00]: passionate embrace and then have it 3D modelled so we could print it and put it in
[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_00]: your garden instead.
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So what have you just signed India up to?
[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I know I was thinking that we would just maybe just went from fertility
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_01]: to now you and India having a bad, bad embrace.
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, then we can ask the AI version of Indie,
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_02]: which never looks like Indie to do that.
[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: With the cigarette fingers.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Cigarette fingers, non-melanin kind of woman.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I mean, Lee, this does mean that he's got another role in the podcast
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_00]: because he's now sort of like our what do they call it in the movies?
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: But they have like
[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_00]: an intimacy coordinator.
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_00]: There you go. That's what it's got another role now.
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's really loud where you are.
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Outro. Outro.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Outro. Whilst Ryan mimes at me in silence.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for joining us on another episode with John Toon and Ryan Peercy.
[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_02]: We are looking forward to seeing you at the awards event that is coming up.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you haven't already booked your ticket, book it.
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it going to be an event that you won't forget?
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: A little bit different and hopefully you'll make some new contacts in the
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_02]: industry that will be unforgettable, memorable and long lasting relationships.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for tuning in and any feedback on the podcast, then please get in touch.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Catch you on the next one.
